Bond Street opened the studio doors for the first time to Culture Night this year and what a night we had! Having held down our corner in the shadows of the Guinness brewery for 15 plus years we felt it only fitting to set the theme as ‘Dublin 8′.We collaborated with a selection of Dublin’s finest photographers and writers to create a show that ranged from portraits of Dublin 8 residents & local groups, street fashion in the heart of the liberty markets and explored themes of Dublin in the 70’s to Virgin Mary iconography. The show was supported by printing from Inspirational Arts & Teach Solais Lighting. Artists included photographers; Liam Murphy, Johnny Savage, Cáit Fahey, Dave Sexton, James Mooney, Aoife Herrity, Eilish McCormick, Shane Lynam, Malcolm McGettigan, Ellius Grace, and writers Rosita Sweetman, Dave Tynan & Sarah Griffin. Thank you to all for contributing their time & talents and of course those who payed us a visit on the night.
